The organizing committee of the 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) released the latest COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures for the fair on Sept 3.
All personnel attending the 22nd CIFIT, which will be held from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, a port city in East China's Fujian province, must apply to the organizing committee for approval of participation.
Applicants will be denied approval if they meet any of the following criteria:
1) Those who have traveled or stayed in medium or high-risk places in China within seven days of the registration date and those who have traveled or stayed overseas within 10 days before the registration date.
2) Those who are undergoing health management measures including medical concentrated medical observation, at-home medical observation, or at-home health monitoring.
3) People who have had direct, indirect or potential contact with COVID-19 cases, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
4) Those who don't have a green Fujian health QR code (people from outside Fujian province must register for the local health QR code in advance).
The organizing committee also requires that all participants must provide a negative nucleic acid test result obtained within 48 hours of the registration date and a green Fujian health QR code, and arrive in Xiamen 24 hours before the venues they plan to attend open.
Those who arrive in Xiamen by air or railway must take a nucleic acid test upon their arrival at the airport or railway stations. Those who drive to Xiamen must take a nucleic acid test upon their arrival at hotels. No gathering activities are allowed before the test results.
All participants are also required to take a nucleic acid test every day during their stays in Xiamen.
Those who have traveled or lived in cities and regions that have medium or high-risk areas, or have a risk of community transmission risk within seven days must arrive in Xiamen 48 hours before the opening hours of the venues they plan to attend.
All personnel must present a negative nucleic acid test result obtained in Xiamen within 48 hours when entering each venue. Those who attend major events must present a negative result obtained within 24 hours.
