China Academy of Industrial Internet has recently released the list of the 20 top counties (cities) in digital innovation driven by industrial Internet. Jinjiang, Fuqing, and Minhou of Fujian Province are on the list.
It is reported that the released list of the top counties (cities) in digital innovation driven by industrial Internet is evaluated based on the industrial Internet development index and indicator system applied to the counties across the country. The evaluation covers the 4 dimensions, namely infrastructure, integrated application, industrial ecology and development environment, 13 first-level indexes, and 20 second-level indexes. The top 20 counties (cities) being selected are Kunshan, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang, Cixi, Taichang, Changshu, Jinjiang, Changsha, Yuyao, Fuqing, Haiyan, Yiwu, Jiaozhou, Ninghai, Leqing, Yixing, Dazhi, Liuyang, Taixing, and Minhou. As for the distribution, 7 counties(cities) are in Jiangsu Province, 6 in Zhejiang Province, 3 in Fujian Province, 2 in Hunan Province, 1 in Shandong Province, and 1 in Hubei Province.
Judged from various indexes, the 20 top counties (cities) demonstrate the following features —
In terms of infrastructure, the average number of 5G base stations per every ten thousand people of leading counties (cities) is 15; the number of major platforms of industrial Internet incubated is more than 5; 19 counties (cities) are within the service range of branch centers delivered by the national industrial Internet big data center.
In terms of industrial ecology and science and technology innovation, the leading counties (cities) have an average industrial added value of 76.634 billion yuan, over 1071 industrial enterprises above the designated size, and more than 623 high-tech enterprises.
In terms of integrated application, the industrial Internet has generated growth in GDP of the leading counties (cities) of over 143.4 billion yuan, helping 86371 people in the region to get employed.
In terms of the environment for talents, the districted cities where the leading counties (cities) are located are home to over 20 higher institutions and vocational schools on average. They endeavor to foster a fertile land for talents through the introduction of talents, field training, and integration between industry and education.
