Fujian Province's thrice industrial structure has been optimized from 8.1:52.1:39.8 in 2012 to 5.9:46.8:47.3 in 2021, forming a modern industrial system with the advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry as the principal part and characteristic modern agriculture as the foundation.

The value-added of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery has increased from 162.9 billion yuan in 2012 to 289.7 billion yuan in 2021. The gross output value of the whole industry chain of the ten major rural characteristic industries including tea, vegetables, fruits, livestock and poultry, aquaculture, bamboo and edible mushrooms exceeded 2 trillion yuan, with each surpassing one hundred billion yuan. The total output of aquatic products and leaf tea remains top in the country and the output of edible mushrooms ranks second in the country with 40% of vegetables being supplied to other provinces. Fujian Province has constructed 11 national advantageous areas for characteristic agricultural products, 9 national demonstration parks for integrated development of rural industries, 5 national modern agricultural industrial parks and 37 national leading towns for the agriculture industry. The integrated development of the agriculture industry of Fujian and Taiwan continues deepening. Fujian Province remains the top one in the country in terms of utilization of Taiwan investment in amount and size in the agriculture industry.

The value-added industrial output has increased from 871.1 billion yuan in 2012 to 1.7788 trillion yuan in 2021. The proportion of value-added of high-tech industry in the value-added of industries above the designated size has increased from 9.4% in 2012 to 15.3% in 2021. In 2021, the comprehensive index of economic benefit of the province's industrial enterprises above designated size hit 375.14, a historical high, realizing total profits of 435.33 billion yuan, 2.15 times of that of 2012. The province is home to 21 industrial clusters with an output value of over 100 billion yuan, and over 50 enterprises with revenue of over 10 billion yuan. The shipment of the power batteries of Contemporary Amperex Technology has been ranking top one in the world for five consecutive years; Fuyao Glass won China Quality Award; production of stainless steel of Tsingtuo Group and caprolactam of Highsun Holding Group ranked top among the world.

The value-added of the service industry exceeded 2 trillion yuan, increasing from 803.5 billion yuan in 2012 to 2.3046 trillion yuan in 2021. New business forms and models have emerged as new sparkles in the development of the service industry. The modern logistics industry has witnessed a steady improvement in both size and capability. Fujian Province possesses 446 national A-level logistics enterprises, ranking fifth in the country. Xiamen and Fuzhou have been included in the construction list of national logistics hubs, and Fuzhou has been elected as one of the national backbone cold chain logistics bases. With the brand "Come to where fortune smiles, Fujian Province" being fully established, Fujian Province has become the country's second province with city-owned 5A Tourist Attractions. Fujian Province also ranks among the top in the country in terms of comprehensive strength in industries such as the arts and crafts industry, printing industry, animation game industry, and cultural and creative design industry.
