Fujian provincial government has recently launched an Action Plan of Innovating and Reforming Fujian’s Business Environment, in which the highest national standards have been adopted as part of its endeavor to provide a first-class business environment supported by marketization, rule of law, business-friendliness, and internationalization. The plan has a total of 94 innovative and reform measures listed in a plan-plus-checklist form, which will be introduced to help a number of local cities to develop a first-class business environment that is in line with the new development philosophy and meets the requirements of high-quality development, thereby creating a business-friendly Fujian where completing business-related paperwork or procedure will no longer be a headache.
The action plan, which featured with Fujian’s advantage and advancement, incorporates a number of reform and innovative measures not included in the national innovation checklist. These include the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal Services District, Four Types of Tickets for Inclusive and Prudent Supervision, the 8-in-1 Tax QR Code, and robot matchers of entities and government benefits they are eligible for. According to the action plan, the government will draw more support from its digitalization push. By leveraging what it has achieved in building Digital Fujian, it looks to expand the applications of digital technology in a business environment, and innovatively launch a digital, business environment monitoring and supervision mechanism. Also, big data technology will be used to map the business environment across the province accurately so problems can be identified and solved in a timely manner and a new model can be developed for building better business environments.
