The project is located at Fuqing Rongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone. It plans to introduce upstream and downstream industrial chains such as polarizers, optical films, driver ICs, target materials, equipment maintenance, mobile phones, flat panel computer, online education terminals, conference video systems, wearable devices, medical display technology, Beidou satellite application terminals, as well as productive service industry projects such as technology innovation industrialization incubation platform, technology achievement transfer and transformation center, and industry research center. The fixed-asset investment intensity of the project shall not be lower than 5 million Renminbi Yuan per mu; the annual average tax contribution per mu after reaching full production capacity shall not be lower than 400,000 Renminbi Yuan per mu; and the annual average industrial output value per mu after reaching full production capacity shall not be lower than 6 million Renminbi Yuan per mu.

Electronics and Information Technology
In 2025, the value-added of above-designated-size electronics and information technology manufacturing in Fujian Province increased by 13.6%, achieving an operating revenue of RMB 108.54 billion. The industry scale ranks 7th nationwide. A favorable development momentum has been formed in sub-industries such as integrated circuits, new display technologies, LEDs, computers and network communication equipment, and lithium-ion batteries. The output value of clusters like integrated circuits and optoelectronics, as well as the lithium-ion battery industries, exceeds RMB 200 billion. 12 enterprises with revenues exceeding RMB 10 billion have been cultivated, including CATL, Amperex Technology Limited, Dell, AUO, TPV Technology, San'an Optoelectronics, Tianma Microelectronics (Xiamen), Hongfa Electroacoustic, Hithium, Ruijie Networks, and Fuzhou BOE Optoelectronics Technology. The province boasts 5 national-level new industrialization demonstration bases for the electronic and information industry, including Xiamen Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Fuqing Rongqiao Economic & Technological Development Zone, Fuzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone, Yunxiao Yunling Development Zone, and Putian High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
