Summit forum held to enhance China-Arab cooperation

The China-Arab Trade and Investment Summit and Middle East New Energy Development Forum is held in Xiamen on Sept 9 alongside the 2020 CIFIT.

There are 22 countries located in the Arab region, which covers an area of more than 13 million square kilometers and has a population of nearly 500 million. China has had a long history of friendly relations with these countries and has established diplomatic relations with all 22 of them.

 

The China-Arab Trade & Investment Summit and Middle East New Energy Development Forum was held in Xiamen on Sept 9 alongside the 2020 China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT).

 

Sponsored by China Arab TV, the forum was meant to deepen economic and trade cooperation between China and Arabic countries and promote more exchanges, while also focusing on the development prospect of new energy.

The China-Arab Trade and Investment Summit and Middle East New Energy Development Forum is held in Xiamen on Sept 9.

The event, themed around the Belt and Road Initiative, was attended by ambassadors to China from Bahrain, Jordan, and Yemen, counselors from Saudi Arabia, Libya and Morocco, and the minister plenipotentiary and head of the economic and commercial bureau of the Embassy of Egypt.

 

Abdulla Al Saleh, undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade & Industry of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Khalifa Elmoktar, chairman of the Parliamentary Group of Mauritania, have also sent video speeches praying for the success of the forum.
