Recently, 93 maps for provincial, municipal, and county-level government work, overseen by the Department of Natural Resources of Fujian Province and compiled by the Fujian Provincial Institute of Cartography, were released for the 2024 edition. The public can download these maps from the “Reference Maps” section of the “Fujian Standard Map Service System” website and the “Fujian Standard Map” WeChat mini program.

According to the introduction, this collection of government work maps consists of 83 maps of counties (including the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, but excluding Kinmen County), 9 maps of prefecture-level cities, and 1 provincial map. The maps depict boundaries, residential areas, transportation networks, water systems, and topography, providing valuable information that can be applied and referenced for government decision-making, urban planning, and management. They can serve as essential tools for governments at all levels to carry out comprehensive planning, allocate resources, and analyze socioeconomic development.
